Brief

One of Azzurri’s biggest customers was University College London Hospitals (UCLH). Azzurri implemented a large scale telephony system across the entire Trust, which involved installing and implementing across ten different hospital locations. Sites included the Royal London for Integrated Medicine, the Heart Hospital and National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. As part of this roll-out there was a new telephone number system which had to be communicated to all staff and patients.

Working with UCLH’s Communications department, I designed a range of posters, leaflets, stands and screensavers to communicate this message to all hospital staff and visitors. The design had to be simple and clear, whilst conforming to NHS branding. Larger font sizes took priority over design flair and this was an interesting project, in that patients with a range of illnesses and disabilities were a priority, rather than just a consideration when designing the artwork.
